Rumors can have many emotions attached to them hurting many in the path of the rumor because rumors get around so fast now. In Tempe, Arizona and across the country numerous rumors of the deadly crash that involve the self-driving Uber vehicle raises. Why didn't the car brake? Why did the back up driver not brake the car? In Tempe, Arizona a deadly collision of a women that was crossing the road in a dark area was struck by a self-driving Uber with a human backup driver behind the wheel. This can be classified as Bogie rumor a rumor that is essentially derived from fears and anxieties, identified as panic rumor when it was discovered that the self driving Uber vehicle was in a deadly crash, but had a backup driver behind the wheel. Also, the Wedge-driving aggression rumor the is essential motivation is aggression or hatred. Many people have strong disagreement with the situation with the back up driver and the self-driving car that lead to the driver may have a criminal background.
The rumor touches on basic anxieties as in death because it was a fetal accident . Also, it was a disaster because this was the first self-driving vehicle crash and was suppose to be more convenient to the road because ninety four percent of crashes are from human error.

  1. To me I don’t think enough testing has been done on self driving cars. Also the so called back drivers are not paying attention because they know the car is driving it self. For the lady that was hit, it was her fault to step out in front of an oncoming car and she was not in crosswalk either.
